RAISE 1 FOR CHRIS represents a dual opportunity: preserving a significant historical building and enhancing the lives of individuals with special abilities. To bring this vision to life, we need to raise $800,000. Our goal is to raise 50% of the budget by the end of 2024. These funds will cover the costs of purchasing and renovating the Starkey School, transforming it into a vibrant community hub where history and inclusiveness meet.

“Raise 1 for Chris” is our capital campaign. As one person, we are small. As a community, we are mighty! Our initiative is to raise $425,000 to purchase the building. It will only take 425 individuals, high school sports teams, church groups, a team of friends working together, civic organizations, or local special groups that come together with each group raising just $1,000 - it will only take 425 donations to purchase the building! We can do this!! We will then continue with our fundraising to see our vision of a community hub become a reality.
